Luminaren is an online retailer specialising in handcrafted Turkish mosaic glass lamps and decorative lighting. Our products are artisan-made and shipped worldwide from our fulfilment centres. References to "Luminaren", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to the Luminaren brand and its operators.

Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you confirm that:

Products & Orders

Product Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately display our products, including photographs, colours, dimensions, and descriptions. However, as our lamps are handcrafted, slight variations in colour, pattern, and size are inherent to the artisan process and are not considered defects.

Order Acceptance

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of:

• Pricing errors on our website
• Stock unavailability after order placement
• Suspected fraud or unauthorised use of payment methods
• Orders that violate these Terms

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Availability

All products are subject to availability. We do not guarantee that any item will remain in stock. In the event an ordered item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will notify you promptly and offer a full refund or suitable alternative.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice; however, the price at the time of your confirmed order will apply.

• Taxes — applicable sales taxes or VAT may be added at checkout depending on your delivery country
• Customs & Import Duties — international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees charged by your country. These are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in our prices
• Payment Methods — we accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely via PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways
• Currency — charges are processed in USD. Your bank or card provider may apply conversion fees for non-USD transactions

Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Shipping timeframes vary by destination:

Tracking information will be provided via email once your order ships. Luminaren is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, carrier issues, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at support@luminaren.com within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.

Returns & Refunds

Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for items that are unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. To initiate a return, contact us at support@luminaren.com with your order number and reason for return.

Non-Returnable Items

• Custom or personalised orders made to your specifications
• Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or accident
• Items returned without prior authorisation
• Items returned after the 30-day window

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the item is defective or we made an error in fulfilling your order. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked packages.

All content on luminaren.com — including but not limited to text, images, photographs, graphics, logos, product designs, and the overall look and feel of the website — is the exclusive property of Luminaren or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without our prior written consent
• Personal, non-commercial use of content is permitted provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• The Luminaren name, logo, and product names are trademarks of Luminaren. Unauthorised use is prohibited

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Luminaren shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website
• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages arising from delays, errors, or interruptions in our services caused by circumstances beyond our control
• Personal injury or property damage caused by misuse of our products or failure to follow installation and safety instructions

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving disputes amicably. If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us first at support@luminaren.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days and resolve all disputes within 30 days where possible.

If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, you may have the right to pursue alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available in your jurisdiction, including:

• EU / UK customers — the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr) or your local Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider
• US customers — binding arbitration or small claims court, as applicable
